We are seeking a Full Time Transport Administration Officer located in Dubbo NSW.
About the Role:
Directly reporting to the Transport Compliance Manager, the Transport Administration Officer will gain exposure to all facets of the Quarry business by supporting the Quarry Manager with coordination of the day-to-day administrative tasks of the quarry operations. You will work with the broader team to support the business. The role would be excellent for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with transport drivers during the workday.
- Ensuring efficient utilization of transport through software and data.
- Receiving orders and assisting in coordinating deliveries.
- Standard pricing of sales for the quarry in conjunction with the Sales manager
- Maintaining the quarry systems.
- Site administration support as required.
- General administration duties.
- Tracking purchase orders using the business cost tracker.
- Compiling EOM data for review and sign off, including compliance data.
- Professional customer service & communication, both written and verbal.
- Working with the service and repair team to track variations.
- Receiving and allocation of sales for the quarry.
Required skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferred not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of the transport industry or willing to learn transport allocations and compliance.
- Proficient in Microsoft word and excel.
- Ability to learn various software systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
